Frequently Asked Questions.

Got questions? We’ve got answers. At Axcellerate, we believe in transparency. Here is everything you need to know about how we work, what we charge, and what you can expect when you partner with us.

What is fractional marketing?

Fractional marketing is the concept of having a senior, experienced marketing leader (or an entire team) working as part of your business—without the hefty full-time salary, benefits, or long-term commitment.

Think of it as hiring a "part-time" Marketing Director or a dedicated team who usually works with high-growth businesses. Instead of paying an £80,000+ salary for one person, you get access to a seasoned expert (or a team of specialists in SEO, PPC, and content) who works for you a few days a week or month. You get the strategy and execution of a full-scale agency, but with the flexibility and personalised attention of an in-house hire.

What does it cost to use a marketing agency?

We understand that cost is a major concern. Unlike traditional agencies that lock you into rigid, high-cost retainers, Axcellerate offers flexible pricing designed for growth.

Our pricing is bespoke based on your specific goals (e.g., lead generation vs. eCommerce sales) and the scope of work required. However, we operate on a transparent, value-based model. We don’t believe in wasting budget on vanity metrics.

We always conduct a free discovery call to scope out exactly what you need so there are no surprises.

Do I have to sign up for a long contract?

No. We hate long, restrictive contracts as much as you do.

At Axcellerate, we operate on a 30-day rolling contract. If at any point you feel we aren’t the right fit, or your business priorities shift, you simply give us 30 days’ notice. No penalties, no exit fees.

However, we do ask for one small favour: while the contract is flexible, the results require patience. We recommend committing to a three-month period to allow our strategies to gain traction and deliver the ROI you’re looking for.

What kind of results will I get?

This is the most important question, and we answer it honestly.

Short-term (months 1–2): You won’t always see a massive spike in sales immediately. This period is for discovery, auditing, fixing technical issues, and laying the foundation. We focus on setting up proper tracking and testing initial campaigns.

Medium-term (month 3): This is where the momentum builds. You will typically start to see a consistent increase in qualified leads, a drop in cost per acquisition (CPA), and organic traffic beginning to climb.

Long-term (month 6+): Sustainable growth. We aim for a consistent upward trend in revenue and market share.

We don’t promise "viral" results overnight (no ethical agency should). We promise measurable growth. We provide monthly reports that focus on the metrics that matter to your bottom line, not just "likes" and impressions.

How much will I have to do?

We aim to be a true extension of your team, not a burden.

If you have no marketing team: We do the heavy lifting. We manage the strategy, the ad accounts, the content creation, and the SEO. You simply provide us with access to your business insights (products, services, USPs) and approve major creative assets before they go live.

If you have an existing team: We integrate with them. We act as the strategist or the "extra pair of hands" to take the workload off your plate.

You stay focused on running your business; we handle the marketing engine.

What types of marketing do you offer?

We are a full-service performance marketing agency. We don’t just do "one thing"—we build integrated strategies that work together. Our core services include:

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO): Technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and link building to drive organic traffic.

Pay-Per-Click (PPC): Google Ads, Bing Ads, and retargeting campaigns focused on ROAS (return on ad spend).

Fractional CMO / Strategy: High-level marketing leadership, strategy, and team management without the full-time hire.

Social Media Marketing: Organic community management and paid social advertising (Meta, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).

Email & CRM Marketing: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, and automation flows to nurture leads and retain customers.

Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO): Turning the traffic you already have into paying customers through UX improvements and A/B testing.

Why shouldn’t I just hire an in-house marketer?

Hiring in-house is great for established enterprises, but for scaling SMEs, it often comes with risks:

Cost: A good Marketing Manager costs £40k–£60k+ per year. A senior Marketing Director costs £80k+. With Axcellerate, you get the senior expertise for a fraction of the cost.

Skill gaps: One employee usually has one specialism. Our team has specialists in SEO, PPC, copywriting, and design. You get a full department for the price of one salary.

Hiring risk: What if they don’t work out after three months? With our 30-day rolling contract, you have zero recruitment risk.

Do you work with B2B or B2C businesses?

Both. We have extensive experience in both sectors.

B2B: We excel at LinkedIn lead generation, account-based marketing (ABM), and complex SEO funnels that drive high-value client enquiries.

B2C: We specialise in eCommerce (Shopify, WooCommerce) focusing on Google Shopping, Meta Ads, and retention strategies to maximise customer lifetime value (LTV).
